DIGI-PET portraits is an addition to the Pet Care Service already offered by Animal Care Tutor, Serena Robinson.

		Serena decided to combine her life-long hobby of photography with her passion for pets. She recalls "Ironically, I took my first photograph in Ross over 40 years ago. My father was a photographer concentrating on buses, coaches, trams and trolley buses, and as a child I spent many Saturday nights watching the pictures 'magically' appear. It seemed perfectly natural to me to always have a film in my camera just in case. Some time ago, I discovered the wonders of digital photography and am now a total convert, particularly as my camera now offers the same facilities as my old SLR with the bonus of being able to see the results immediately."
Serena offers traditional portraiture, individual greetings cards and can provide unique gift opportunities in the form of boxed glass paperweights, coasters, fridge magnets, handbag mirrors, brooch/pendants and key-rings all depicting your own pet. Old photographs of past pets can also be scanned creating any of the gift items mentioned and home visits can be arranged.

Serena explains, "Digi-Pet Parties are simply when a 'host' gathers a group of friends and their pets together at one venue and share the visit cost. Photographs are downloaded onto the computer so results can be seen immediately. There are no time restrictions, I will stay for as long as I am wanted and the host may be entitled to a free gift, although a minimum order applies."
