In November 2004, Serena gained the photographic distinction LRPS  -  Licenciate of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain.

The Royal Photographic Society, founded in 1853 is the most prestigious international photographic society.  In order to gain this distinction Serena had to submit a portfolio of ten images for approval by a highly qualified Panel of Society Fellows.  Fortunately they deemed her portfolio worthy of the award.
